Leonid Mukhamedov

Executive Vice-President, Europe Operations, Member of the Executive Committee, Schneider Electric

Leonid Mukhamedov has held several sales leadership positions and operational management roles in Europe, Middle East, Africa, CIS. He also has a strong experience in emerging markets and has been consistently recognized for his sales leadership in the IT Market.

He started his career within APC (American Power Conversion Corporation) in 1995 and led the Moscow region. He took then the position of Country Manager for Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan before being promoted, in 2001, Regional Director for CIS, Central Europe, Middle East and Africa. In 2004, he was nominated General Manager in charge of South East EMEA, Italy, Greece, Spain and Portugal.

Leonid joined the Management Team of Pelco in 2009 as Vice-President and Managing Director of EMEA. He was responsible for Sales, Marketing, Technical and Training for the EMEA region, including United Kingdom, the Nordics, Europe, Middle East and Africa.

In 2010, Leonid joined the IT Business of Schneider Electric and served as Senior VP EMEA, assuming the responsibility for managing sales, service and data center solutions.

Leonid was named Zone President of Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) at Schneider Electric in June 2012. He was responsible for the overall business throughout the CEE region, for creating a seamless customer experience and ensuring strong contribution to Schneider Electric sustainability strategy.

Since July 2015, Leonid has been appointed Executive Vice-President, Europe Operations Division and became a Member of the Executive Committee of Schneider Electric.

Leonid Mukhamedov was a Research Engineer in Radio Physics and Electronics at Chalmers University in Gothenburg, Sweden. He was graduated of a Master’s Degree in Radio Physics from “The Moscow Institute of Physics & Technology”. He attended a three-year-doctoral program and was a co-author of several papers published in IEEE magazines.
