Tinna C. Nielsen

Anthropologist, Founder of Move the Elephant for Inclusiveness

Tinna is an anthropologist and behavioural economist by heart and profession. She has worked as Global Head of Diversity, Inclusion and Collaboration for Arla Foods (2010-15), one of the world’s largest dairy cooperatives. Previously she worked for the Danish Institute for Human Rights. For the past 14 years, her passion has been to promote behavioural, cultural and systemic changes for inclusiveness. For this purpose she founded thenon-for-profit organisation MOVE THE ELEPHANT FOR INCLUSIVENESS in 2013. She co-founded the global sharing community www.inclusion-nudges.org and co-authored The Inclusion Nudges Guidebook in 2015 with Lisa Kepinski, Founder of Inclusion Institute.

She has extensive experience in leadership development at all levels and in all functions, design and facilitation of interactive training and experiential learning, strategy and process design, along with team, cultural andorganisational development focusing on innovation, performance and change (incl. gender balance). In every aspect of organisational and people development, Tinna focuses on mitigating unconscious bias and designinginterventions (Inclusion Nudges) to promote inclusiveness.

Tinna has been honoured by the World Economic Forum as Young Global Leader2015. She will be an active member of the YGL community for 6 years contributing to solutions that improve the state of the World. She is also a fellow at the RSA (Royal Society of Arts). She was nominated Top 10 Diversity Consultants 2015 at The Economist Global Diversity List. She is former member of the executive committee of Diversity in Business Council and currently a faculty member of the “D&I Academy” at The Conference Board, an Advisory Board member of Diversity Charter in Denmark, lecture at the Open University DK. She is a dynamic influencer, trusted advisor, international keynote speaker, workshop facilitator in many different domains. She is working with the United Nations, The International Committee of the Red Cross, public schools, private and public organisations worldwide. She lives in Denmark with her family of five and has lived in France and the U.S.
