Maija Van Langendonck

Maija Van Langendonck, Senior Associate at Pluribus

Maija has been a champion for and partner with Pluribus for several years and is now delighted to have joined the team as Senior Associate. With passionate dedication and a no nonsense approach she brings an extensive experience in the broad spectrum of Inclusion and Diversity.

Maija has held both Corporate Diversity roles as part of a COE as well as Global Inclusion and Diversity roles within the business and functions – uniquely positioning her to understand the drivers of the various stakeholder groups. In these roles Maija supported and advised Cargill’s Global Food businesses, led two Global Strategic Inclusion and Diversity initiatives (one gender and one HR capability build) as well as developed tailored I&D strategies and project plans.

In her plus 20 years in the Corporate world, she has worked across industries where she held various commercial and strategic HR roles in which change, culture and inclusion have been a red thread.  She led the post-acquisition cultural integration at Valoris, helped to shift a NATO agency from R&D funded organisation to a collaborative project based one and tackled the importance of Cultural Intelligence whilst overseeing a Strategic IT change program. Her background in consulting – curiosity for business– eagerness to learn and ease of connecting have served her well in her various roles.

Maija is originally from the UK –  was raised in Belgium – briefly lived and worked in the US and is a committed International citizen fluent in English – Dutch – French. She sat on the Executive Committee of the EMEA Diversity Council of the Conference board and was co-founder as well as member of the Executive Board of the International Dual Career network.

Maija is strategist- facilitator – coach – faculty of the CIYO (Coming into Your Own) female leadership development program and certified in Lomminger tool suit as well as MBTI.

In addition to her passion for her work – Maija is a keen traveller – has interest in sustainability – community work – yoga and healthy living. She lives south of Brussels with her husband – teenage daughter and baby boy.
