Wanted: nominations for the 2nd AXA Wo_Men@Work Award

It’s that time of year again when JUMP joins forces with AXA Belgium to organise, for the second year running, the AXA Wo_Men@Work Award.

The award recognises the business leader in Belgium who has been a fervent supporter of gender equality in management in the course of their career.

The success of the first award ceremony last year highlighted that gender balance and diversity are high on the agendas of some businesses and organisations.

“An effective gender policy is possible as the 28 applications for last year’s first AXA Wo_Men@Work Award proves,” says Els Baton, CIO of AXA Belgium and President of the award jury “analysing [last year’s nominations] showed that the CEO’s personal commitment and flexible working models are the two main conditions for success in a gender-balance business”.

Time has certainly flown by since we awarded the first laureate Albert Ragon, General Manager of Danone Belgium. It has been a busy year for our winner as he has been invited by many boards, medias and companies to talk about gender balance and diversity practices since receiving his award.

You too can take part in this year’s 2nd AXA Wo_Men@Work Award.
