Global Delivery Partner Manager, Technical Services, Cisco Systems
Aurelia Takacs joined Cisco Systems in Belgium in 2010 and currently leads a virtual team, based in the Middle East, of approximately 180+ people supporting the EMEA region which includes Delivery Partner Managers, Project Managers, Technical Leaders and Engineers. She is responsible for the successful achievement of the Delivery Partner’s contractual goals set in line with Cisco Technical Support, and influences leadership’s strategic direction.
Prior to Cisco, Aurelia used to work for MasterCard Worldwide starting from their U.S. offices in Missouri in 2001 and moving to their Belgium office in 2004. She held multiple leadership roles at MasterCard, managing Customer Operations teams in Europe, Middle East & Asia supporting their top financial institutions accounts, and leading the implementation of the department’s first-ever offshore delivery model in India.
Aurelia is very involved in Inclusion & Diversity events and organizations, specifically targeted around Women in STEM and Leadership roles. She is an Advisory Board Member – Corporate Sponsorships, and an active Project Leader, for Greenlight for Girls, an NGO with the mission of encouraging and inspiring girls of all ages and backgrounds in pursuing advanced studies in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) subjects. She also co-founded at Cisco a “Women in Networking” group in EMEAR, and is very active in many Employee Resource Groups such as: Cisco Connected Women, Women in Science & Engineering, CSR Civic Council Giving Back and more.
Aurelia holds a Business degree in International Business & Relations from St. Louis University, and a Masters of Science in Management (MSM), with a Certificate in Human Resources from Boston University.
