Works as a senior consultant at the Department of Clinical Microbiology and at the Department of Hematology and Coagulation, both at the Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Göteborg, Sweden. She is an affiliated professor at the Sahlgrenska Academy at the University of Gothenburg. She heads her own research group that focuses on infections and immune defense in immunocompromised patients and on the immune regulatory function of the eosinophilic granulocyte.
