As master in economics, Katleen joined PwC in September 1996. After 4 years of experience, she joined USG People (at that time Solvus, Belgian quoted company) as a group controller focusing on Belgium, The Netherlands, France and Spain. After the merger of Solvus with USG People, she became Finance Director of the largest Belgian affiliate of USG People, Start People. As from summer 2008 till the end of 2016, she combined Finance & HR within Start People which is an interesting combination in a service organization as Start People. In 2017, she joined Partena Professional as Finance and HR Director. We realise that too much rules and complicated processes are dangerous for a service company as Partena Professional. We started to move from a hierarchical structure to a more agile company where a manager is more a servant leader to the team and where autonomy is supported. The big challenge is that all levels of management make the switch to servant leaders.
