Jean-Michel Monnot

Fondateur de All Inclusive!

Jean-Michel Monnot is the founder of All Inclusive!, a free-spirited consultancy firm whose mission is to boost performance through inclusion. He supports his clients in designing and implementing their D&I strategy, and is a well-known professional speaker.

In addition to his activities with All Inclusive!, he is a member, since January 2016, of the “Haut Conseil à l’Egalité entre les Femmes et les Hommes” (Higher Council for Gender Equality), and founder and vice-president of the NGO ‘Divercité’ in Normandy. He also joined the “Edhec Open Leadership” innovation centre as an associate expert. He is one the co-authors of the book “Gender Balance, when men step up”.

Between 2007 and 2016, Jean-Michel Monnot was Vice President, Group Diversity & Inclusion for Sodexo, based in the group’s head office in Issy-les-Moulineaux. He was in charge of the implementation of the group’s diversity and inclusion strategy in the countries in which Sodexo operates. In collaboration with the local teams, he developed and assisted the action plans, helping with the process of priority-setting for each country according to its own distinctive reality. He thus promoted local commitment by encouraging the leaders to sign their country’s diversity charters. Along with other companies, he also initiated new charters in countries such as Poland, Czech Republic or Morocco.

Jean-Michel Monnot’s action was based on 5 main aspects of diversity: gender, generations, disability, sexual orientation, and cultures and origins. The originality of the approach was both to cover all dimensions of diversity and to add inclusion so as to break down silos. As part of his mission, Jean-Michel Monnot developed tools, facilitated a network of diversity leaders, fostered the exchange of best practices, proposed objectives and implemented a diversity dashboard. Within a few years, Sodexo became a leading benchmark in terms of diversity and inclusion, and was awarded numerous prizes (Award Catalyst, Grand Prix des Trophées de la Diversité, Trophée du Déploiement International, Disability Matters Awards, Grand prix de la Diversité de l’Autre Cercle).

During his 25 years at Sodexo, Jean-Michel Monnot also carried out commercial and operational management functions. After graduating from Saint-Etienne Business School, he had started his career in the field of temporary employment.

Jean-Michel Monnot was born in Burgundy and lives in Normandy. Probably due to his origins, he has developed a passion for wine. This was actually his first approach to diversity as one of his greatest pleasures is to discover wines of different regions and countries, different colours, different aromas and blends, different ages. To move towards inclusion, he is building a cellar where each bottle has its own place!
